Fathers' Rights
in Today's Maryland Family Law
Maryland child custody laws state that judges cannot favor either parent soley because of sex, as doing so has been held to be sexual discrimination.    
--If you are a Mother, it is not in your best interest to assume you will get custody if your case goes to Court,
and if you are a Father, it is not in your best interest to assume you would not get custody if your case goes to Court.
Maryland Child Support laws apply to Mothers as well as to Fathers.
